CAGE FIGHTING BRINGS ITS BATTLE TO THE CHEVROLET CENTRE


Youngstown, OH- King of the Cage returns to Northeast Ohio after a four year absence. KOTC brings their mixed martial art fighting to Youngstown's Chevrolet Centre on Saturday January 17th at 8pm with tickets ranging from $20- $100 going on sale this Saturday. Four years ago, King of the Cage drew just under 10,000 fans to the Cleveland Convention Center

King of the Cage has 43 events booked for their 2009 fight season with a soft estimate of over 50 fights by years end. King of the Cage promoter Matt Flynn's promotion Xtreme Cagefighting Championship continues to be the exclusive feeder league for King of the Cage. Fox Sports Net will be airing XCC on Dec. 14th. XCC has proven to be another asset to identify even more up and coming superstars for KOTC events.
As the brainchild of Terry Trebilcock, King of the Cage first started promoting events almost ten years ago, when mixed martial arts, then known as No Holds Barred (NHB FIGHTING), was on the verge of extinction.
In the following years, Trebilcock would dodge bullets but steadily cultivate the promotion into what is now known as one of the largest MMA institutions in the world.
